In order to publicize child self-protection commonsense and raise parents’ awareness to prevent child abuse, the center staff, shepherded around by director Jiao Fuyong, launched a workshop – Enhance Self-Protection Awareness and Prevent Child Abuse in Hongying Community in Xi’an on August 24, 2011. Dr. Jiao delivered detailed lecture on aspects such as common children diseases prevention, child abuse occurrence, prevention and later measures. The workshop evoked great repercussions in the attendants presented, they got involve in the interaction actively and expected that this kind of practical and problem-free workshops could be launched in many other communities. This campaign was a complete success and good propaganda effects were obtained.
